My name is Gyula Csik and I'm a graphic designer, illustrator and a front-end web developer at Drone Creative. Having lived in London for years, I currently reside in Budaors, Hungary.
Ever since my early years I was a devoted drawer. As the years passed I've became a decorative painter in high school and then enrolled in graphic design studies on university level. I've spent 10+ years working in the field of design in different countries with a focus on corporate branding, illustrating and web design. The cornerstone of my design philosophy is my love for good honest craftsmanship. I believe in quality over quantity and that good things happen when you create with passion, care, and attention to detail.
I started freelancing a year after I gained admission to the Graphic Design Department of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, mainly to gain experience. It turned out quite well as I had some great clients. Finished the university by receiving my Master's Degree in 2008. My diploma project received some great reviews and was invited to numerous exhibitions. I moved to the UK in late 2008 and settled down a year later in Romford, Essex. In January 2011 I've returned to Hungary to work for Drone Creative.
My favourite things include Art Deco, designer toys, music, cold beer, warm sunshine, bikes, forests, walks and dreams. On weekends you might find me at live music venues or in forests but on weekdays I'm either sitting behind a Mac or at my drawing desk.
